Design Process

Initial Discussion

Tina will get to know you, take a look at your home, your inspiration images and discuss your goals. We discuss your project in detail, and get to know your home, your needs, your style and what you're looking to accomplish. After a phone or in person get-to-know-you you will receive a proposal within 3-5 business days outlining the scope of work, the fees and next steps to get started. Our goal is to make the design process as clear and easy for you as possible.

Design and Planning

This is the discovery phase where you can share your inspiration and requirements. We have developed a signature interview system that allows us to get to know you and the way you live. We will conduct an in-depth design interview and will get to know you and your family and how you'd prefer your home to function.

Working Design Meeting

After the in depth discovery phase we will meet for a presentation of our design concepts (ie: basic drawings, furniture styles, lighting styles, fabric ideas, finishes) This is a working meeting to ensure we are on the same page and are moving forward together.

Presentation

We present everything we are proposing for the home, in it's entirety. This includes each piece of furniture, lighting, window treatments, etc in the space. This allows you to get a clear picture of the design vision and direction. We will send you a proposal shortly after, listing every pricing detail for your approval.

Purchasing

You would make a deposit on goods (which will be listed on the proposal) and the purchasing then starts.  The TRC team will oversee all orders and deliveries.

Final Installation

After purchasing begins my team and I will be on site to oversee final installation of all pieces. Final payment on items will be billed as items are delivered and installed.

Client Reveal

Finally the big reveal has arrived! The TRC team walks with you through the finished space, and discusses all notable items. We leave you with a care document detailing how to care for specific pieces. Although most or all pieces have been invoices, there will be outstanding invoices from delivery companies, cleaning service, etc which we you will receive after the reveal.

Client Closure Meeting

This can be in person or on the phone, depending on your schedule. We discuss any and all open issues and ensure you are satisfied with your new space. We will also kindly ask for any feedback, reviews/testimonials and referrals at the close of the project.

Photography

After the space is complete the TRC team including a photographer and stylist will photograph the space. If the project is to be featured in any publication we will discuss disclosure details with you prior to publishing.

Our goal is to make the process easy for you. We welcome any and all questions you may have.
